LOCAL MELTDOWN, “A Grilled Cheese/Mac-n-Cheese/Anything Awesome with Cheese Throwdown” at NOVA 535 (535 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street North)

  • Your “tasting ticket” also allows you to vote for the best creation in each category (People’s Choice)
  • Guest judges (Chef Jeffrey JewJanet KeelerTampa Bay TimesMeaghan HabudaCreative LoafingAndy Salyards, owner of Urban Brew and BBQ – serves “the Tampa Bay area’s best mac and cheese” according to Laura Reiley, Times Food Critic) will select the Judges’ Choice winners

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 17 - 6-10 PM in the Grand Central District

“The Grand Treats & Tunes Trolley Hop” -  https://www.facebook.com/events/802275163169707/

A local “sweet treats” vendor (think cakes, cupcakes, donuts & more) + a local musician pop-up in front of the locations below in the Grand Central District.  Your wrist-band will allow you to hop aboard the open-air Looper Trolley to travel from stop to stop and it will also get you drink specials.

Have dinner at the restaurants before buying your sweet treats.  Pop into the local shops that are staying open late that evening.  Experience the all-local taps take-over and concert at Urban Brew and BBQ.  Listen to some of our best local musicians as you stroll through Grand Central/ride the trolley.  Eat/Drink/Buy/Listen and Be Local!

  • Farmer’s Market 3-9 pm - 20+ local businesses unite with Beer-centric Collaborations (showcasing locally made food & drink, local growers + organic products)
  • 4-7 pm Nick Boutwell, St. Pete’s famous street musician, will be performing on his accordion
  • 7 pm-midnight - live music in collaboration with the Don’t Stop St Petersburg Music Festival
  • All day & night - exclusive beer releases + uber ridiculous drink specials to be announced

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 19 - 2-5 PM at the Museum of Fine Arts

An event with artist and chef, Ernesto Piloto-Marquez Piloto-Marquez, (of ART + FOOD + EXPERIMENT + SOCIETY), that aims to help erase the preconceived ideas about what separates the culinary arts and the visual arts
