Western Herbalism 101 :: Saturday May 25 and Sunday May 26 :: 10am to 5pm both days This two day intensive is designed for the beginning herbalist or as a refresher for the experienced one. Western Herbalism 101 introduces the basics of Western Herbalism, bioregionalism, herbal nutrition, and herbal preparations. This class introduces the art and science of herbal medicine, from a traditional and clinical perspective. We will explore the medicinal actions of 30 plants, learn basic medicine making practices, and better understand the relationship between plants and people. Class is held on Traditions Herb School’s half acre United Plant Savers Botanical Sanctuary located in South St. Petersburg. Please RSVP for address. This is a two day intensive course taking place from 10am to 5pm on both Saturday and Sunday (May 25-26, 2019). The WH 101 course serves as the pre-requisite for students to continue herbal education at Traditions. After completion of WH 101, students can choose to enroll in our intermediate course, Foundations of Western Herbalism, beginning JULY 20-21, 2019 and continuing to meet one weekend a month for six consecutive months.
