Alterra Atelier

Andrea Espinoza, the founder of Alterra Atelier, is an artist and Interior Designer from Caracas, Venezuela, based in the United States. She creates bespoke interior spaces and hand-sculpted collectible art and objects.

Originally known as Alterra Handmade, this passion project began in 2020 as an art forward endeavor, focusing on sculpted and functional forms, while Andrea continued developing her Interior Design career through the corporate world. In late 2024, after 8 years in the design industry, she decided to take the full plunge as a business owner, combined her two passions and Alterra Atelier, a multidisciplinary creative studio was born.

She believes luxury can be grounded and deeply personal, and brings this approach to her design projects.
